Meet Dr. Brackett

My Parents moved to Hinsdale in 1951. I am a graduate of Hinsdale Central High school and DePauw University, Greencastle, IN. My dental education was at Loyola University School of Dentistry in Maywood, Illinois.  Following my graduation I participated in a one year General Dentistry Intern Program with intensive experience in all the Dental Specialties as a member of the US Air Force at Malcolm Grow USAF Hospital, Andrews Air Force Base, Washington D.C. On completion of that training,  I served overseas for 30 months at San Vito De Normandie NATO base in Southern Italy as a base Dental Officer, & as Base Dental Surgeon (commanding officer).  A wonderful way to start my professional career and also the start of our 35+ years marriage.  On separation from the Air Force, I entered private practice in Clarendon Hills.  And the saga continues......

I am a firm believer in continuing education for myself and my staff.  I have been awarded a Fellowship and a Mastership by the Academy of General Dentistry.  Many hours of study and hands on experience are required to attain these awards.  Each year I set aside time to attend educational meetings and seminars (see the Continuing Education page for courses taken) so I can continue to provide excellent oral health care for my patients.
